Do you ever find that when watching a nature programme that you get the desperate need to lift your feet off the floor?
snakes tend to give me that feeling. - i came across this picture while looking for examples of pattern for some As level art coursework. needless to say i liked the intricate design, colouring and general compostion of the piece and so ended up trying to do it justice in acrylic paint.
on this count i think i did quite well - this is possibly the best thing ive ever done with my artwork, however it did take over 10 hours :faint:
Shame all my art teacher could say was that i was taking too long on my work. :threaten:
meh.


after all that luverly art work i did i ended up with a D overall anyway :sarcasticclap:

so i have officially dropped art for A level and continued with my other subjects.

dunno about you but if i stare at this too long i start to find my feet lifting off the floor ....

Awesome! I thought it was a photo at first, and when I read your comment I was blown away! ^_~ Hopefully I'll get a chance to work with acrylics soon, and I can ask you for pointers :)

I say take as long as you want! Your tutours should be pleased your work is good! Its quality that matters after all! I love this! I know I am a snake lover generally, but I really admire people who can create great art and this is spot on. :+fav:

thx! i dont really like snakes that much!! i was just looking at the lovely patterns!! (i cant even watch a nature thing on snakes without taking my feet off the floor)
